This is Part 2 of the bandsaw blade guide fabrication project. The big takeaway from this video is the fact that you can get silver solder in different grades, each with a different melting temperature. The main difference between the grades is the quantity of zinc in the alloy. The more zinc, the lower the melting temperature. Despite a few hiccups, as you will see, the project turned out pretty good. Maybe not as pretty as it could have been but it’s functional, and for this project, that’s good enough.
