Description
1/8″ foam upholstery piping for skin-on-frame kayak construction – 50′ roll suitable for skinning one average length sea kayak. Custom lengths available.
This is used in the Robert Morris (Building Skin-on-frame Boats, Raincoast Publishing) method of skinning skin-on-frame sea kayaks using nylon or polyester skins.
The piping adds bulk to the seam allowing for the use of a simple saddle stitch to create a tidy and easily waterproofed seam.
