Description
These are an almost exact replica of my full sized kayaks and are essencially a more commanding version of my 1/4 scale models. They are built using the same methodology and materials. Alaskan yellow cedar and synthetic sinew. Finished with linseed oil. The colour of the cedar will darken over time to a rich amber.
These models come packaged in a hand sewn, leather buttoned canvas storage bag which makes a unique gift presentation.
The finished size is an approximate 1/3 scale of a 17′ kayak.
66″ Long, 7.5″ Beam, 4″ Deep.
These models are made to order. Expect an aproximate 4-6 weeks delivery time.
Hand made display stand, etched brass plaque or hanging hook provided for an extra charge. The hanging hook allows for both vertical and horizontal display. Larger scales may be made upon request. Contact me by email for details.
